The Harder You Push

A recurring pattern where two days of forced effort on a stuck problem yielded nothing, but stepping away and sleeping on it produced the answer in ten minutes – a mechanic he doesn't understand but has learned to trust.

Spent two days stuck on a task. Pushed hard. Hit a wall. Gave up and walked away.

Woke up the next morning with the answer already in my head. Ten minutes and it was done.

This keeps happening.

Some tasks don't respond to effort – the harder you push, the tighter they hold. Let go, and somehow it works itself out.

I don't understand the mechanic. But I stopped fighting it.
